I’m stuck with a terrible hollow feeling that we might not get the country back. That the rule of law and due process are slipping away. That all the futurists were right, that the threat would come from the inside, wrapped in the flag and carrying a bible.

It’s so easy to tear things down, so difficult to rebuild. And the outcome will be on the Roberts Court. Two decisions, tore us down. Citizen’s United and the ruling that the President, is beyond the reach of the law. Horrible decisions. Official acts of negligence by people who are supposed to be intelligent and educated enough to stand in support of the Constitution. No degree from Harvard Law, necessary.

Ignorance, fear and hate landed on us big time. Even now, fear is the enemy. Give in to it, and it’s over. I may lose some friends, but I am done pretending everything’s okay. It most definitely is not.
