Former Los Angeles Times staffer, Saul Daniels, is editing the new “Chatsworth Patch” on the Internet. Here’s a bit of his welcoming message to new readers-
“Chatsworth Patch is based right here in our community. And we will be bringing you all the information about Chatsworth seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Now, that’s a big challenge, and we can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in.
When you read a story that sparks your interest, scroll to the bottom and enter your comments immediately.
Are your parents having a wedding anniversary? Click on “Announcements” and let everyone know. The same for graduations, obituaries, weddings, and more.”-Saul Daniels
“Patch” is an effort by AOL to cover the country with hyper-local news websites. Not everybody thinks it’s a great idea. One critic compares it to Walmart.
I can’t speak to what other Patch sites are coming up with, but Saul’s doing some outstanding work in Chatsworth.
